Cloaks (also referred to in the game as light armor, or before the November 10th update, simply clothes) are the lightest type of body armor, preferred by non-fighter class customers. Specifically, cloaks will be requested by the Bard, Evoker, Healer, Illusionist, Monk, Ninja, Shaman, Sorcerer, and War Wizard classes.

There is a relatively wide variety of cloaks in Swords & Potions (including a large number of token recipes), ranging from the very simple plain clothes to the expensive token lord of darkness. All cloaks are made by the tailor, with some magical cloaks also requiring inputs from the sorceress.

In a very confusing move, the monk armor is a cloak (despite being named "armor"), but the monk's cloak is not a cloak (it is classified as medium armor), which means that monks will not buy it, making it doubly-incorrectly named.

The following table shows the properties of all cloaks in Swords & Potions. Token recipes are indicated by blue shading.
